Let me explain..

The Colouring in Project is a ongoing body of work by photographer Rhodri Brooks (that's me). 


For the last few months I have been working on a project I've simply named called 'The Colouring in Project'. The idea came from wanting to make a photography book that would have an element of interaction and fun, that would hopefully reach a wider audience than the usual 'art scene'.


It follows on from previous photographic work which deals with the idea of leaving childhood and entering adulthood. Essentially, growing up and how we try to balance the fun spontaneity of youth with the earnest, responsibilities that arrive with adulthood. I'm very interested in trying to capture both of these parts of our lives in one photograph.

Why can't we all have a little bit more fun..?


I think that through an element of interaction with a piece of work, more people can engage with the work, see it evolve, grow and ultimately take part in a bigger work.


 This blog is where I will put the finished works from people who have bought, coloured in, and returned images of my 'Colouring in Book'. I'll also put up images from events such as 'Colour in my Exhibition'. Keep your eyes peeled!
